O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by R.MAHADEVAN, J.] This habeas corpus petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondents to produce the body or person of the petitioner's wife / detenue viz., Kuthupunisha, aged about 25 years and daughter Afeekah, aged about 5 years, before this Court and set them at liberty.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that on account of marital discord, his wife Kuthupunisha, aged about 25 years and daughter Afeekah, aged 5 years, went missing from 08.07.2022 and that the police are not taking effective steps to secure them. Hence, the present habeas corpus petition has been filed with the above prayer.

3. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the petitioner, Kuthupunisha along with the minor child, are present before this Court.

4. When we enquired, both the petitioner and his wife Kuthupunisha stated that they are willing to live together peacefully and ready to resolve all the marital disputes amicably.

5. In such view of the matter, this Court would expect both the parties will be living together peacefully and recording the above submissions made by the parties, this habeas corpus petition stands closed. [R.M.D., J.] [J.S.N.P., J.] 09.09.2022 Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes / No pkn
