ORDER

The petitioner, who is the defacto complainant in Cr.No.155 of 2023 on the file of the second respondent Police, has filed this petition seeking a direction to the second respondent Police to complete the investigation within a time frame.

2.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the respondents submits that the investigation in Cr.No.155 of 2023 has been completed and charge sheet has also been filed, through E.Filing before the Additional Mahila Court, Nagercoil, on 02.07.2023. 3.Recording the aforesaid submission, this criminal original petition is closed. Mere filing of final report is not sufficient. It is the duty of the second respondent Police to ensure that the final report is taken on file, without any further delay. The Additional Mahila Court, Nagercoil is expected to take the final report on file, within a reasonable time, if it is otherwise in order.
