ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed seeking orders to direct the respondents to preserve the CCTV footage recorded on 01.08.2024 at about 05.00 a.m. to 09.00 a.m. at the Hotel Tamilnadu nearby Periyar Bus Stand at Madurai City, based on the writ petitioner's representation dated 09.08.2024 within the period that may be stipulated by this Court.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents has produced the statement of Ananda Kumar, Manager of Hotal Tamilnadu, wherein, he has stated that they came to know that the CCTV footage recorded for the period from 30.07.2024 to 01.08.2024 came to be deleted automatically.

3. Recording the same, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
