ORDER
This Writ Petition is disposed of at the time of admission with the consent of the learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Central Government Standing Counsel for the first respondent and learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the second respondent.
2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the second respondent submits that the petitioner is an accused person in similar offences under the provisions of Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957 and IPC in the following three cases:
1. Crime No.126/2022, dated 12.03.2022,
2. Crime No.143/2022, dated 22.03.2022 and
3. Crime No.131/2025, dated 25.03.2025.
3. It is confirmed by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the 2/4
second respondent that no charge sheets have been filed till date and the cases are still under investigation.
4. Considering the same, there can be no impediment in issuing passport to the petitioner. Hence, the first respondent is directed to process the petitioner's passport application No.TR2067363572925, dated 03.02.2025 and issue the passport to the petitioner as expeditiously as possible.
5. It is made clear that in case, charge sheet is filed in any of the above/all cases mentioned above, the petitioner shall surrender the passport to the concerned Court and thereafter, move appropriate application for appropriate orders, in case, the petitioner desires to travel abroad.
6. This Writ Petition is disposed of, with the above observations. No costs. Index : Yes / No 23.07.2025 Internet : Yes / No apd 3/4
