ORDER

The petitioner with an allegation that the respondent police is harassing him under the guise of an enquiry has approached this Court. 2.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the official respondents submits that based on the complaint given by the third respondent, they have initiated a petition enquiry in CSR.No.205 of 2025. Further, he submits that since it is matrimonial dispute, they have referred the matter to the Social Welfare Officer. 3.Since the matter has been referred to the Social Welfare Officer, the petitioner is directed to appear before the Social Welfare Officer and co-operate for the enquiry. The respondent Police is directed not to harass the petitioner. In the event, if there is no amicable settlement before the Social Welfare Officer, the respondent Police shall proceed further with the complaint. In the event, if any case has been registered, the petitioner is at liberty to workout his remedy in the manner known to law. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is disposed of. 05.08.2025 gns 2/4
