ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a Writ of Mandamus, forbearing the respondents 1 to 4 from conducting Katta Panchayat, at the instigation of the respondents 5 and 6.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 had brought to the notice of this Court that the respondents 5 and 6 had filed a 2/5

complaint as against the petitioner with regard to the land dispute. On the same day, the petitioner and the respondents 5 and 6 were called for inquiry and they were advised to approach the appropriate civil Court. Thereafter, a civil Suit in O.S.No.1067 of 2014 was initiated and judgment and decree had been made in the said suit. He would further submit that as alleged by the petitioner, no complaint was pending on the date of filing this writ petition as against the petitioner and that the official respondents had not indulged in such activities and they also undertake not to indulge in any such activities.

3. In view of the aforesaid facts, there is no necessity to adjudicate the writ petition as prayed for any further. Hence, this writ petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
