ORDER
The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondent to consider his appeal dated 26.02.2025, seeking correction in the revenue records pertains to S.F.No.63/8A and 63/8B situated at Nambanpatti Village, Viralimalai Taluk, Pudukottai District.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.K.Malathi, learned Additional Government Pleader who takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3.
3. By consent of both the parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 2/6
4. According to the petitioner, the patta for the subject property originally stood in the name of the petitioner's grandfather Amirthamalai and Mathayi. Subsequently, after UDR there was a sub-classification and patta was issued in the name of 10 other persons.
5. The petitioner submitted a representation before the 1st respondent on 26.02.2025, seeking cancellation of revenue records in the name of 10 persons and restoration of the same in the name of the petitioner's father. The same has not been considered and hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.
6. The learned Additional Government Pleader who takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the request made by the petitioner is relating to UDR correction. Therefore, the competent authority to consider the representation of the petitioner is the 1st respondent.

In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the 1st respondent is directed to consider the representation/appeal of the petitioner dated 26.02.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner and various persons named in the representation of the petition and other interested parties.
8. The writ petition is disposed of with the above observations. No costs.
