O R D E R

The writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondent to grant patta for the properties situate in survey Nos.231/15, 231/4, 316/1B and 316/2 in Eriyur Village, Singampunari Taluk, Sivagangai District, based on the judgment and decree passed in O.S.No.187 of 2015, on the file of the Sub Court, Sivagangai.

2.Mr.D.S.Nedunchizian, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondent. By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.According to the petitioner, the subject properties belong to the petitioner's husband Poovalingam and the patta also stands in his name. Since there was a dispute with regard to the right over the said property, the petitioner instituted a suit for declaration and injunction in respect of the subject properties by including the same as item Nos.7, 16, 17 and 18 in A schedule to the plaint in O.S.No.187 of 2015, on the file of the Sub Court, Sivagangai. The said suit was decreed ex-parte on 10.11.2022. Based on the same, the petitioner submitted an application on 01.05.2025 2/5

seeking issuance of patta in her name and the same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court. 4.The learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondent would submit that the application submitted by the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.

5.In the view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the respondent is directed to consider the application submitted by the petitioner dated 01.05.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits, within a period of fourteen weeks from the data of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner, defendants in O.S.No.187 of 2015, on the file of the Sub Court, Sivagangai and other interested parties.

6.With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
