The petitioner, a resident of Chithupatti Village, Illupur Taluk, Pudukkottai District, has filed this writ petition seeking a direction to the 2/5
respondents 1 to 6 to conduct the temple festival of Arulmigu Sri Meyaperumal, Sri Adaikalam Kaathar, Sri Ayyanar, Sri Pidariyamman and Karayakarupar Temple, situate in Chithupatti Village, Vilathupatti Revenue Village, Illupur Taluk, Pudukottai District.
2. Today, when this writ petition is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that pending this writ petition, a peace committee meeting was conducted in the village and they have also amicably resolved the issue with the opposite parties to conduct the temple festival jointly and peacefully, without giving first honour to any individual.
