PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 10.09.2014 in the light of the order passed by the third respondent in Na.Ka.No.21885/89.M, dated 25.10.1990.

ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 10.09.2014 in the light of the order passed by the third respondent in Na.Ka.No.21885/89.M, dated 25.10.1990.

2. Heard Mr.Babu Rajendran, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.V.Om Prakash, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 and Mr.S.Devasana, learned Counsel appearing for the respondent No.4.

Considering the limited relief sought for in this Writ Petition, without adverting to the averments made in the affidavit, this Court directs the writ petitioner to make a fresh representation to the respondents within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The respondents shall consider the representation of the petitioner and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six (6) weeks thereafter, after affording an opportunity to the writ petitioner.

4. With the above said directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. 05.01.2023 NCC: Yes / No Index :
