Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to revise the scales of pay of the petitioners as per G.O.Ms.No.71 (Finance) Pay Cell dated 26.02.2011, in accordance with directions given in Para 51(vi) of the judgment rendered by Division Bench of this Court in W.A.No.504 of 2013 dated 27.02.2014 with all 1/3

O R D E R

I have had occasion to deal with the same issue as arising in this writ petition in W.P(MD)Nos.3313 to 3315 of 2018 and after hearing both sides, have passed orders on 16.11.202 directing the District Collector (PD Section)/R4, Sivagangai District to dispose the representation of that petitioner fixing a time frame for the same.

2.In view of the identity of facts and legal position, without expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioners, and seeing as the petitioners have filed representation dated 30.01.2017 before the respondents putting forth the identical claim made by them in the present writ petition, the following direction is issued.

3.A direction is issued to the concerned District Collectors/R4 to R7 to dispose the afore said representation dated 30.01.2017 in consultation with the Commissioner of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department/R3, after hearing the petitioners and in accordance with applicable Government Orders and in accordance with law. The aforesaid exercise shall be completed within a period of eight(8) weeks from today.

4. This Writ Petition is disposed as above. No costs.
