ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the respondents-1 to 3 to provide adequate protection to the petitioner from respondent Nos.4 to 6.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent police.

3. It is seen from the records that the petitioner has lodged a complaint before the second respondent as against the respondents-4 to 6 is pending.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, pending investigation cannot provide police protection to the petitioner. However, the second respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner after giving notice to the respondents-4 to 6 and pass appropriate order, within a period of Eight (3) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
