O RDER This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking for expeditious investigation by the police in Crime No.232 of 2020.

2.It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that in the month of August 2020, a case has been registered in Crime No.232 of 2020 basing on a complaint given by the petitioner for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 323, 324 and 307 IPC and the police have not completed the investigation even after 3 years have been lapsed and therefore sought for suitable directions.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) on the other hand submits that there are about 8 accused in this case and the investigation is almost completed and 7 witnesses were already examined and requested short time to complete the investigation and file the charge sheet. 4.Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and on perusal of the records, this Petition is disposed of directing the respondent police to complete the investigation in Crime No.232 of 2020 and 2/4

file the final report within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
