Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to reissue the petitioner's all certificates incorporating the mode of study as "M.Phil regular Part Time" in her Registration No.2017422055 for the period of 2017-2018 following their communication in RC:AU/CD&DC/M.Phil SSP/2021 dated 09.07.2021. *********** Learned Counsel for the respondent has filed additional typed set of papers enclosing a copy of the model Certificate which is likely to be issued in favour of the petitioner. A copy of the same has also been furnished to the learned Counsel for the petitioner. The model Certificate reads as follows:
' CERTIFICATE This is to certify that Ms.M.KATHAMPARI, Reg.No.2017422055 studied M.Phil in Tamil (Summer Sequential Programme) in the Department of Tamil during the year 2017-18. Since the regulations governing for the full time M.Phil programme with regard to the syllabus, passing minimum, eligibility for guideship, etc shall apply to the candidates enrolled under Part-Time/Summer Sequential Programme also. M.Phil in Tamil (Summer Sequential Programme) is equivalent to M.Phil. In Tamil Part-Time.'
2.On instructions, learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that in principle, the petitioner is satisfied with the format of the certificate. He would also submit that once the said certificate is issued and delivered to the petitioner, no further relief is required by this Court. W.P.[MD]No.19953 of 2021 3.Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of by giving a direction to the respondent to issue the certificate as per the model placed by the respondent before this Court, within a period of one [1] week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
