O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of Mandamus seeking a direction to the respondent/ Sub Registrar, Chettikulam Registration Office, Chettikulam, Lalukudi Taluk, Trichy District, to register a document, which was presented on 04.08.2021 vide Registration No.TP/103999946/2021.

2.The grievance of the petitioner is that the respondent appears to have raised an objection with respect to an earlier document registered in Doc.No.1608/2008, in Pullampadi Sub Registrar Officer.

3.The learned Counsel for the petitioner, however, drew the attention of this Court to an internal communication of Tahsildar, Ilayangudi, dated 06.07.2021 in Na.Ka.No.A1/2066/2021, addressed to the Sub Registrar, Chettikulam, who is the respondent herein, clarifying about the said document.

4.In view of that particular fact, a mandamus is issued to the respondent to examine the document presented by the petitioner and if it is otherwise in order, proceed further with registration. If the respondent entertains any further doubt, he may invite the petitioner for an enquiry and the petitioner herein may submit all the documents and the clarification issued by the Tahsildar and on such clarification, the respondent may proceed to register the document, if it is otherwise in order.
