O R D E R

The Petitioner herein seeks a direction to the first respondent to dispose of his appeal, dated 10.7.2025 seeking rectification of UDR records pertains to the Petitioner's property in S.No.84/4 in Sattur Town, Sattur Taluk, Virudhunagar District to an extent of 056.75 sq.ft within the time stipulated by this Court. 2.Mr.A.Baskaran, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3.The Petitioner claims right over the subject property under a settlement deed executed by his mother, dated 7.5.2020. According to the Petitioner, during UDR up-dation, the name of Krishnan Koil Neivethiya Trust was wrongly mutated in respect of the subject property, in the revenue records. The Petitioner submitted an appeal before the first respondent on 10.7.2025 2/6

seeking rectification of the revenue records. The same has not been considered till date. Hence the Petitioner is before this Court with the present Writ Petition for the aforesaid relief. 4.Mr.A.Baskaran, learned Additional Government Pleader who takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the representation of the Petitioner, dated 10.7.2025 was sent to the first respondent on 15.7.2025 and the instant Writ Petition was filed on 18.7.2025.

5.When the representation of the Petitioner is sent to the first respondent only on 15.7.2025, the Petitioner ought have waited for a reasonable time before approaching this Court by way of this Writ Petition. In the case on hand, immediately after submitting the representation before the first respondent, without waiting for a reasonable time, the Petitioner has approached this court with the above mentioned prayer.

6.Taking into consideration the date of representation and also the pendency of number of representation before the first respondent, this Court is inclined to direct the first respondent to consider the representation of the Petitioner, dated 10.7.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits, after issuing notice to the 3/6

Petitioner, the above said Krishnan Koil Neiveithya Trust and other interested parties, if any, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7.With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
