O R D E R

The relief sought for in the present writ petition is for a direction to the Chief Educational Officer, Tirunelveli District / third respondent to appoint the writ petitioner in anyone of the Schools as Music Teacher, based on the vacancy available in Tirunelveli District, by considering his representation dated 08.10.2014.

2. Mere submission of representation would not confer any right on the candidate to seek appointment to the post of Music Teacher. The post of Music Teacher is to be filled-up by https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

following the procedures contemplated in the recruitment rules in force.

3. The learned counsel for the writ petitioner states that the writ petitioner has attended three selection processes and he was not appointed. However, the non-selection would not be a ground to seek appointment by filing a writ petition. The case of the writ petitioner is to be considered, if he is selected pursuant to the recruitment notification, if any issued by the respondents.

4. Thus, the writ petitioner is at liberty to participate in the process of selection, if any recruitment notification is issued and a quota for visually impaired persons is provided.

5. With these observations, the writ petition stands dismissed. No costs.
