Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's name for Book Binder employment by considering the petitioner's representation dated 01.07.2022 within a time stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R

The writ petition has been filed seeking for a mandamus to the respondents to consider the name of the petitioner for employment to the post of Book Binder by considering his representation dated 01.07.2022, within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has already made a representation dated 01.07.2022 to the second respondent. However, the said representation has not been considered by the second respondent till date. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that as per G.O. (4D) No.5, School Education Department, dated 29.11.2021, the representations of 32 similarly placed persons who were attained more than the maximum age limit of 30 years were considered and they were appointed. He further submitted that it would be suffice, if the representation of the petitioner dated 01.07.2022, 2/6

is disposed of by the second respondent as per law.

Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for, this Court, directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 01.07.2022, and pass appropriate orders on its own merits and in accordance with law by following the Government Order in G.O. (4D) No.5, School Education Department, dated 29.11.2021, wherein, 32 similarly placed persons were appointed by the respondents who were above the age of 30 years by relaxing the age limit. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. The writ petition stands disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
