This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to grant 21 days ordinary leave without police escort to the petitioner's brother namely Praveenkumar, S/o.Manickam, life Convict Prisoner, PID No.189336 confined at Central Prison, Trichy, on the basis of the petitioner's representation, dated 30.05.2025. 2.Heard Mr.K.A.S.Prabhu, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.A.Thiruvadikumar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstance of the case and the limited relief sought for in the writ petition and without going into the merits of the case, there shall be a direction to the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner dated 30.05.2025 strictly in accordance with

law and take a decision within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
