2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner including the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) and perused the records.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) has submitted that the accused in this case has already approached this Court in an another petition seeking for speedy disposal and the same was refused on the ground that the charge sheet which is sought to be disposed of, was registered only in the year 2023 and that there are number of old matters pending to be taken up for trial.

4. In view of the submissions made by both sides, since it is reported that the dispute is between the petitioner and his close relatives, this criminal original petition is disposed of, directing the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thirumangalam, to expedite the disposal of C.C.447 of 2023. 22.08.2023 NCC : Yes / No Internet : Yes / No Index : Yes / No tsg 2/4
