O RDER This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondent Police to file a final report in respect of Crime No.668 of 2023 within a time stipulated by this Court.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that instead of Crime No.652 of 2023, he has wrongly mentioned in the petition as Crime No.668 of 2023. He further submits that there are number of complaints pending against the accused and the accused have cheated many persons by giving fake appointment letters.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the official respondents submits that the Investigating Officer will conclude the investigation within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. Accordingly, this Court suo motu amends the Crime Number as Crime No.652 of 2023, instead of Crime No.668 of 2023. 2/4

In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the official respondents, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the respondents Police to complete the investigation in Crime No.652 of 2023 within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. Index : Yes/No 14.08.2023 Internet : Yes/No ssb Note: The Registry is directed to amend the Crime Number as Crime No.652 of 2023 instead of Crime No.668 of 2023, while issuing the order copy.
