ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a writ of Mandamus to direct the first respondent to issue Passport to the petitioner based on his application in File No.TR1067119916724 dated 14.11.2024.

2. The learned Government Advocate for the respondents 2 and 3 submits that FIRs have been registered against the petitioner in the following five cases:

3. A reading of the above table indicates that two different cases are pending before the Criminal Court as on date.

4. Considering the same, there is no scope for granting any positive direction to the first respondent to process the petitioner's passport application, dated 14.11.2024.

5. Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed. However, it is open to the petitioner to file suitable application before the said Court for appropriate relief. No costs.
