ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the 1st respondent to seek enquiry in Na.Ka.A1/6454/2021 dated 25.11.2022 within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.Baskaran, learned Additional Government Pleader Advocate who takes notice for the 1st respondent.

3. By consent of both the parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

4. The petitioner submitted an application before the 1st respondent seeking cancellation of patta issued in favour of the 2nd respondent in respect of the property situated in S.No.606/16. The 1st respondent initiated an enquiry proceedings in e/f/vz;/m1/6454/2021 dated 19.07.2024 and the same has not been concluded till date. Therefore, the petitioner has come before this Court.

5. The learned Additional Government Pleader who takes notice for the 1st respondent would submit that the enquiry is posted for hearing on 12.08.2025 and the same will be concluded within the time stipulated by this Court.

In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the 1st respondent is directed to conclude the proceedings in e/f/vz;/m1/6454/2021and pass final orders on its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner and the 2nd respondent.

7. The writ petition is disposed of with the above observations. No costs.
