Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the Petitioner's representation to conduct the festival jointly and also get the temple vari from the Petitioner and society people and to provide the report to the Petitioner based on the representation dated 30.08.2022 in accordance with law, within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the Petitioner's representation to conduct the festival jointly and also get the temple vari from the Petitioner and society people and to provide the report to the Petitioner based on the representation dated 30.08.2022 in accordance with law, within the time stipulated by this Court. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court.

3.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondens 1 and 2 would submit that the temple festival is already over. Further, the Petitioner's claim for allowing the Petitioner to pay the tax was not accepted by the person, who constructed the temple and that the Petitioner Arul kumar and others shall pay donations to the temple festival and for maintenance and

this was accepted by the other villagers concerned, except one Jayaraman and family, who have maintained the temple and the accounts of the temple and further, the next temple festival is going to be conducted only after four years and a communication to this effect, dated 26.11.2022 has been produced before this Court issued by the Revenue Tahsildar, Gujiliyamparai.

4.In view of the aforesaid position, the Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
