The petitioners are A1to A3 in Crime No.342 of 2025 on the file of the second respondent Police. The said case was registered for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 296(b), 115(2), 118(1) of BNS, 2023 r/w Section 3(1)(r), 3(1)(s) and 3(2)(va) of of SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989. Therefore, the petitioners have filed this petition seeking a direction to the Special Court concerned to dispose of their bail application on the date of their surrender. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that in fact, the petitioners are the victims as the defacto complainant has assaulted them.

3.Mr.P.Kottaichamy, learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), who takes notice for the respondents 1 & 2 submits that the first petitioner/A1 is a habitual offender, having four previous cases to his credit, in Crime Nos.408 of 2012, 459 of 2019, 984 of 2014 and 209 of 2014. He further submits that the petitioners said to have assaulted the defacto complainant with beer bottle.

4.Considering the nature of offene and the weapon used, this Court is not inclined to entertain this petition. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
