Crime No.4 of 2024 2.N.Nagarajan (R2 suo-motu impleaded vide order dated 21.08.2024 ... Respondent/Complainant For Petitioner : Mr.M.Rajendran, Advocate For Respondents: Mr.R.M.Anbunithi, Additional Public Prosecutor for R1 Mr.A.Joel Paul Antony for R2 PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL UNDER SECTION 482 OF BNSS PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.4 of 2024 on the file of respondent police. ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Sole Accused, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 406 and 420 of IPC in 1/3

Crime No.4 of 2024, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the accused received a sum of Rs.12,00,000/- from the defacto complainant and his friend by promising to get admission in RVS Agricultural College and later cheated them. Hence, the case.

3. Heard. Perused the materials available on record including the First Information Report.

4.In this case, it is seen that the petitioner and the defacto complainant had entered into an agreement writing whereunder, the quantum of amount is mentioned for getting management seats in a private college. On the reverse side for periodical receipt of the amount, endorsement is also made. Both the petitioner and the defacto complainant are signed, I am of the view that this is not a fit case for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5.Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. sd/- 28/08/2024 / TRUE COPY / / 09 /2024 Sub-Assistant Registrar (C.S. I / II / III / IV) Madurai Bench of Madras High Court, Madurai - 625 023.
