Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records relating to the impugned Auction/Tender Notification of the 2nd respondent in Na.Ka.No.A1/1961/2014, dated 16.10.2014, published in the "Daily Thanthi" dated 16.10.2014 and quash the same and further direct the respondents to grant license as per "Clause 8" of the Tender conditions in pursuant to the Auction/Tender held on 20.06.2014.

ORDER

The learned counsel for the petitioner made an endorsement in the Court bundle stating that the matter has become infructuous. However, he seeks liberty to seek refund of the earnest money deposit, which he had made at the time of participating in the auction.
