[Order of the Court was made by R.MAHADEVAN, J.] This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to remove the encroachments made on the water body

in Survey No. 67 (Channel) of Vadhuvarpatti Village, Aruppukkottai Taluk and restore the same in its original condition, based on the petitioner's representation dated 22.08.2014, within a time frame.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submitted that there are no encroachments in the water body, as alleged by the petitioner.

3. Recording the said submission, this Writ Petition is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to approach the authorities concerned, if any other encroachments are noticed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
