This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of writ of mandamus directing the respondents to provide adequate police protection for the peaceful conduct of "Punitha Santhihappar Festival" of Punitha Senthiyahappaar Church, A.Vellodu, Dindigul District scheduled on 11th to 13th August, 2023 or in any other subsequent date. 2/4

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the festival was conducted. Hence, this petition has become infructuous.
