PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, praying to direct the second Respondent not to harass the Petitioner under the guise of enquiring into the complaint lodged by the third Respondent dated 18.07.2022.

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second Respondent not to harass the Petitioner under the guise of enquiry. 2.The learned Counsel for the Petitioner would submit that the third Respondent had purchased the agricultural land for the purpose of constructing the college. The Petitioner is the mediator for the purchase of the property. While so, after four years from the date of purchase, the third Respondent had approached the second Respondent as though she had parted with huge amount for the purchase of the property making allegations against the Petitioner. Therefore, the second Respondent is summoning the Petitioner at odd hours. Therefore, the Petitioner had sought directions against the Respondents 1 and 2 not to harass him. 3.The learned Government Advocate for the Respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the subject property belongs to the Petitioner. The complaint received from the third Respondent was enquired by the second Respondent. On enquiry, the second Respondent had advised the third 2/4

Respondent to approach the Commissioner of Police, Tirunelveli, wherein the cause of action arose. With the above, the enquiry was closed. Hence, he prayed for dismissal of this Petition.

4.Recording the submission of the learned Government Advocate, this Petition stands closed. The Petitioner is at liberty to workout his remedy before the Commissioner of Police, Tirunelveli, if necessary.
