ORDER

This Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the time of admission after hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner and the respondent.

2. The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition for a Mandamus to direct the respondent to refund the deposit amount based on the representation of the petitioner dated 02.05.2022.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner has closed down the business and therefore, there is no question of payment of any GST. Hence, the amount deposited by the petitioner should be refunded.

4. Having considered the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent, this Writ Petition is disposed of, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, by directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.05.2022 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
