2. The learned counsel for the official respondent states that the person who was appointed as an Assistant for the petitioner confirmed that the petitioner has retired from service on 31.08.2021. It is therefore submitted that nothing further survives for adjudication in the present writ petition. Recording the above submission, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
