ORDER
The petitioner / defacto complainant has approached this court for direction to the learned Principal District Judge, Thoothukudi to dispose of the case in SC.No.66 of 2024 within a stipulated time. 1/6
2.The petitioner has not filed any dates and events or synopsis in this petition. This petition has been filed in a casual manner without assigning any proper reason. However, the learned Government Advocate, who is handling several cases each day is prepared with the synopsis along with dates and events. The same is extracted as under : " Gist of the Case:
* It is respectfully submitted that the petitioner/defacto complainant filed this petition seeking to expedite the trial in S.C.No. 66 of 2024 on the file of the learned Principal Sessions Judge,Thoothukudi.
* The defacto complainant is the father-in-law of the accused. The deceased is the father of the Accused. * There was a matrimonial dispute between the accused and the daughter of the defacto complainant, and they are living separately.
* Their elder daughter lives with her mother. The accused used to take her to his home for two or three days, and later the de facto complainant would come and pick her up. On 09.11.2023, the defacto complainant came to the house, informed the deceased / father of the accused and took his granddaughter back to his home. Accused called over phone and threatened the defacto complaint.

* On 10.11.2023 at about 9.00AM, the accused took a sickle, shouting that he would kill the defacto complainant, and started on his bike. The deceased / father of the accused tried to pacify him. But the accused pushed him down and went to the house of defacto complainant. The deceased followed the accused on his bike and also informed about this to the defacto complainant.
* The accused attempted to attack the defacto complainant. The deceased/father of the accused tried to pacify him. Hence the accused attacked his father using sickle and murdered him.
