ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 528 of BNSS., seeking orders, to direct the second respondent to expedite the investigation and to file final report in Crime No.395 of 2022, dated 22.09.222 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Thiruchitrambalam Police Station, Thanjavur District.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents.
3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent police registered an FIR in Crime No.395 of 2022 and the investigation has already been completed and charge sheet was made ready on 15.06.2024. Hence, he seeks two weeks time to file final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), the second respondent police is directed to file final report in Crime No.395 of 2022 before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
