ORDER

This writ petition is filed as against the order of the Revenue Divisional Officer, Devakottai dated 21.09.2014. 2.The 2nd respondent RDO has passed an order that the patta has been wrongly entered in the name of the petitioners's father during the UDR survey. The grievance of the petitioners is that the 2nd respondent RDO is not competent authority to make any changes in the UDR entry. 3.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents submits that wrong entries during 2/4

the UDR have been corrected by RDO and DRO is the competent authority to make any changes in the UDR entries. 4.In view of the above, the impugned order is set aside and the 1st respondent / District Revenue Officer, Sivagangai shall look into the issue and pass appropriate orders after issuing notice and hearing all the interested parties, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.The writ petition is disposed of in the above terms. No costs. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
