PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider and appoint the petitioner on compassionate grounds, based on petitioner's educational qualifications, with all consequential benefits, within the time frame stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking a mandamus as against the respondents herein to consider his request for appointment of compassionate grounds.

2.The petitioner's father who was working as a Driver in the respondent transport Corporation has passed away on 13.02.2016, and the petitioner has given a representation on 07.11.2023, seeking compassionate appointment based upon his qualification. So far, the said application is kept pending and no orders have been passed.

3.Considering the above said facts, the first respondent herein is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 07.11.2023, and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
