This writ petition is filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to survey and measure the land in S.No.39/1A situated at Pariyanvayal Village, Thalayur Group, Devakottai Taluk, Sivagangai District and fix the boundaries, by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 19.05.2022.

2. Heard Mr.G.Hariharan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.D.Gandhiraj, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

The case of the petitioner is that he has purchased the land in S.No.39/1A situated at Pariyanavayal Village, Thalayur Group, Devakottai Taluk, Sivagangai District from one Kannan by way of registered sale deed vide Document No.2027/2022 and Patta also changed in his name. In such circumstances, he decided to survey the said land and approached the respondents to measure the land and fix the 2/5

boundaries. He has also paid necessary fees through Sub Treasury, Devakottai. Thereafter, on 19.05.2022, he made a representation to the first respondent in person. However, till date no steps have been taken by the respondents to measure the aforesaid land in S.No.39/1A. Hence, the petitioner has approached this Court by filing this writ petition, seeking direction to the respondents to survey and measure the land in S.No. 39/1A and fix the boundaries.

4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the Taluk Surveyor has given an instruction that they are willing to measure the land in S.No.39/1A, if all the documents are proper.

In view of the submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader, this Court directs the respondents to survey and measure the land in S.No.39/1A situated at Pariyanvayal Village, Thalayur Group, Devakottai Taluk, Sivagangai District and fix boundaries, by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 3/5

19.05.2022, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
