Respondents PRAYER :- This Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, to direct respondents 1 and 2 to provide Police Protection to the petitioner's life and limb for living at her residence on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 10.07.2023 within the stipulated period by this Court.

ORDER

The petitioner has filed this petition for police protection.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side.

3. When the matter came up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that the petition was taken up for inquiry and the police also visited the spot and found that the dispute was "civil in nature". Upon enquiry, both parties have given in writing that they will work out their remedies before the civil Court.

4. In that view of the matter, it will be open for the petitioner to approach the appropriate civil Court and based on the order / decree of the civil Court, can approach the respondent police and only thereupon, the police can give protection in accordance with the civil Court decree.

5. With such liberty preserved, this Petition stands disposed of . 11.09.2024 Internet : Yes Index : Yes/ No NCC : Yes/No LS
