This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the charge sheet in STC No.739 of 2016 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Vilathikulam.

2. The learned Counsel for the Petitioners seeks to quash the charge sheet in STC No.739 of 2016 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Vilathikulam on the ground that after laying the final report, the Petitioners herein, who are arrayed as accused and the Defacto Complainant had arrived at a compromise. A Joint Compromise Memo is also filed along with this Petition.

3.By way of reply, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submitted that he has no objection to quash the charge sheet by recording compromise.

4.In the light of the Joint Compromise Memo, this Petition is allowed and the proceedings in STC No.739 of 2016 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Vilathikulam is quashed. The Joint Compromise Memo shall form part of this order. 18.10.2022 Index:Yes/No Internet:Yes/No aav 2/4
