ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking orders to direct the respondent Police to comply the order passed in Crl.M.P. No.1040 of 2020 dated 27.12.2022 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.2, Thoothukudi to register FIR within a time frame. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that in pursuance of directions of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.2, Thoothukudi, the second respondent conducted enquiry and submitted a report before the learned Magistrate. 3.At this juncture, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though the Revenue Divisional Officer has passed on order, the second respondent Police without taking note of the said order, has filed the report.

4.As rightly pointed out by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, since the second respondent Police complied with the 2/4

directions of the learned Magistrate and filed a report before the concerned Court, the petitioner is at liberty to workout his remedy before the appropriate forum, in the manner known to law. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
