PRAYER: Writ Petitions are filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a writ of Mandamus, to direct the second respondent to register the sale deed presented by the petitioner on 31.01.2024 with respect to the property in Sy.No.100/7, Plot No.7 and 8, Mappilaiurani Village, Thoothukudi Taluk and Thoothukudi. ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to register the sale deed presented by the petitioner on 31.01.2024 with respect to the property in Sy.No.100/7, Plot No.7 and 8, Mappilaiurani Village, Thoothukudi Taluk and Thoothukudi. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3.It is the case of the writ petitioner that subject properties belong to him and he sold the same to one Sethulakshmi by a registered sale deed dated 27.10.2021. The said Sethulakshmi executed a power of attorney to the wife of the petitioner. Thereafter, the petitioner wanted to re-purchase the said property for the said Sethulakshmi and entered into a sale deed dated 31.01.2024. When the same was presented for registration, the second respondent refused to register the same on the 2/5

ground of objections raised by one Rani stating that there is a money transaction between the vendor of the petitioner and the said Rani. Challenging the same, the petitioner has filed this writ petition. 4.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that the petitioner has not presented any document before the authorities concerned. If the petitioner presented the documents and if it is in order, the same will be registered in accordance with law and released forthwith.

5. In view of the above submission, this writ petition stands disposed of directing the petitioner to present the sale deed dated 31.01.2024 before the second respondent forthwith and on receipt of the same, the second respondent shall register the sale deed presented by the petitioner in accordance with law.
