PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 9 herein to create the alternate pathway to the graveyard and consequently forbearing the above said respondents from using the petitioner's Patta land in Survey No.319/4, Kurukathi Village, Kalayarkoil Taluk, Sivagangai District and Parayar Community street as pathway to bring the dead bodies to the graveyard.

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 7 herein to create the alternate pathway to the graveyard and consequently forbearing the above said respondents from using the petitioner's subject property. .

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the official respondents on instructions submitted that after consultation with all the villagers, an alternate pathway has been created to the graveyard. 3/5

3. In view of the above, the grievance expressed by the petitioner has been redressed and this Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
