The Inspector of Police, CBCID, Tirunelveli, Tirunelveli District has filed the above petition seeking for extension of time for further period of four months, to complete the investigation in respect of the case in Crime No.1 of 2017 on the file of the CBCID, Tirunelveli and filing final report.

3. It is seen from the records that this Court vide order, dated 03.11.2020 has granted four weeks time to complete the investigation and file the final report and posted the matter on 02.12.2020 for reporting compliance. Subsequently, three months further time was granted vide order, dated 21.12.2020 and posted the matter 22.03.2021 for reporting compliance. Thereafter, this Court vide order dated 29.06.2021 has granted four months further time to complete the investigation and file a final report.
4. Considering the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), this Court is inclined to grant a further period of three months time to the petitioners to complete the investigation and file a final report, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. Accordingly, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition stands ordered.
