Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent herein to delete the wrong entries incorporated in revenue records pertaining to petitioner's property situated at Tanjore District, Tanjore Taluk, Palliyakragaram Village, R.S.No.132/1 admeasuring 24 cents (0.09.72 Ares) S.F.No.128/2 admeasuring 33 cents, in the light of the petitioner's representation dated 19.06.2019, within a stipulated period that may be fixed by this Court. The petitioner with a grievance that the fourth respondent name has been wrongly included in the revenue records has submitted an application before the District Revenue Officer in the year 2019 and has filed this writ petition that her application has not been considered so far.

2. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 seeks short accommodation to ascertain whether the application has been disposed of or not.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that all the revenue officials have recommended in favour of the petitioner, even thereafter, no final order is passed.

4.This Court considered the rival submissions made.

5. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to conclude the proceedings, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. NCC : Yes / No.
