The Civil Revision Petition is filed to direct the Family Court, Thoothukudi to expeditiously hear the proceedings in I.D.O.P.No. 293/2021 on the file of family court, Thoothukudi.

2. Since no adverse orders are going to be passed against the respondent, notice to the respondent is dispensed with. 1/4

3. The petitioner is the husband and the respondent is the wife and their marriage was solemnized on 01.03.2014. While so, since there was a dispute between them, the respondent filed IDOP No.293/2021 for dissolving the marriage and the petition is of the year 2021 ie., more than four years, without any progress, the petitioner is before this Court for speedy disposal of the same.

4.Considering the limited scope of the matter and taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, the trial Court is directed to dispose of IDOP No.293/2021 as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of twelve months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.Accordingly, the Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
