respondent not to remove the name of the petitioner from the ownership/partnership/License of the "Mathi A/C Theatre, A.A.Road, Madurai" based on the application dated 12.05.2014 of the second respondent and without any order of civil Court and consequently renew the License of the Mathi A/C Theatre for the year 2014-2015 continuing the petitioner as a Licensee as approved by the first respondent in the proceedings Ni.Mu.No.17237/2001, dated 07.12.2001 and getting the petitioner's signature.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the first respondent not to remove the name of the petitioners from the ownership/partnership/License of the "Mathi A/C Theatre, A.A.Road, Madurai" based on the application dated 12.05.2014 made by the second respondent.

2. Pending writ petition, the name of the petitioners were deleted by the first respondent which was challenged by the petitioners in W.P(MD) Nos. 2172 of 2013, 7369 and 5385 of 2017.

3. This Court by order dated 08.09.2020 had allowed the writ petitions challenging the removal of the name of the petitioners. In view of the above fact, the relief sought for in the writ petition would not be granted as the first respondent had already deleted the name of the petitioners and that has been challenged by the petitioners and hence, this writ petition has become infructuous.

4. Accordingly, this writ petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. 15.02.2023 NCC: Yes / No Index :
