For Petitioner :Mr.S.Murugan For R1 and R2 :Mr.B.Thanga Aravindh Government Advocate (crl.side) O RDER This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking for a direction to the respondent police not to harass the petitioner on a false complaint given by the respondent No.3. 2.It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that there are disputes between the petitioner and the respondent No.3 and since the respondent No.3 is a retired Sub Inspector of Police, the respondent police have been harassing the petitioner, on account of which the petitioner has filed a representation dated 31.07.2023. Since then, the harassment is being continued, sought for suitable directions.
3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) on the other hand submits that the police have received the representation dated 31.07.2023 by post and the complaint is being enquired into, which is posted to 17.08.2023 and has 2/5
submitted that in case if the dispute between the petitioner and the respondent No. 3 is civil in nature, they will advise the parties accordingly. 4.Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, the respondent police are directed to complete the enquiry on the complaint given by the respondent No.3 by following due process of law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, this Petition is disposed of.
