ORDER

Heard Mr.C.T.Perumal, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.D.Ghandiraj, learned Special Government Pleader who appears for respondents 1 to 5.

2. This Writ Petition had been filed in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 5, to close down a TASMAC bar which was run by the sixth respondent in Karungal, Kanyakumari District.

3. The Writ Petition had been filed in the year 2014. A counter had been filed dated 08.04.2014 stating that the sixth respondent had licence for the TASMAC bar. But now we are in 2021 after seven years and it is not known whether the said TASMAC bar is still functioning, whether if it is functioning, it is still causing nuisance and whether the petitioner's grievance still survives. Therefore, without entering into any further discussion, the Writ Petition is disposed of. If the petitioner feels he still has same grievance if at all the TASMAC bar is functioning, let him take proper action in the manner known to law.

4. Giving that liberty, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
