ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by DR.ANITA SUMANTH, J.) The prayer in the writ petition is for a mandamus directing the official respondents to remove the encroachment caused by R4, private respondent, in Survey No.118, Sevanthiyandippatti Village, Kaththalur Revenue Village, New Viralimalai Taluk, Old Iluppur Taluk, Pudukkottai District.

2.When the matter had come up on 08.09.2025, we had directed the Tahsildar, Viralimalai Taluk/ R2 to visit the subject premises and file a report with regard to the allegations contained in the writ affidavit relating to encroachment.

3.Report is filed by the Tahsildar to the effect that survey did confirm the allegations of the writ petitioner. 2/5

4.Mr.Ashok, learned Additional Government Pleader states that Form VII under the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act has been issued to R4 calling for his reply.

5.Let the proceedings be completed within a period of six weeks from today (15.09.2025).

6.In the light of the aforesaid order, particularly since notice has been issued to R4 by the official respondents, there is no necessity for any notice to R4 in the present proceedings. 7.Recording the aforesaid and since the petitioner is satisfied by the action taken by the official respondents, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
