This writ petition has been filed seeking for a mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner' representation.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate produced a copy of the written instructions received by him from the Special Tahsildar, Chennai-Kanyakumari Industrial Corridor Project, Thiruppathur. From the said instructions, it is seen that the petitioner had accepted for handing over the land and also made a claim for higher compensation and that the claim of the petitioner had been referred to the committee and the committee had also made its recommendation on 28.12.2022 to the Government.

3. In view of the subsequent development, no further adjudication is required to be made in this writ petition and accordingly, the writ petition is closed. No costs.
